Her spokesperson has said that the pay proposal was willfully misrepresented by opponents. Robert Peston has published the press briefing announcing the poilicy (embargoed until 10.30pm last night) her team issued yesterday before her speech in which she said it. So the conclusion is that she willfully misrepresented her own policy Bounce

Both are proving how out of touch they are with the country as a whole (shock, horror), it's Tory bubble politics, but only for the hard right members though, all those moderate Tories are fucked. It's sickening that such a small number of people are being courted, new party leaders, especially those replacing a PM should always go to the entire public, not 160,000 or whatever the fucking number is, more broken politics, from the broken system.

Oh and as a Scot, whether they like Sturgeon or not is beside the point (I don't care for the SNP), Tories always show contempt for Scotland, even Scottish Tories are contemptuous cunts. Fuck 'em! I'll keep repeating this, Tories shouldn't exist in Scotland!

I think that is a pretty clear statement of your views, Skully!
Johnson to Truss is hardly a change other than Boris's buffoonery could be mildly amusing for some people at some times. Personally I always regarded him as a dishonest chancer with extreme narcissism and a nasty streak.

Well yeah, no point in sugar coating it, other people may disagree with me, which is fine, but they are of course wrong. lol.
Voting in the UK is like asking what would you prefer, gonorrhea or chlamydia, you have to choose, but you really don't want either.

Disclaimer: I've never had either by the way, just using something shitty to illustrate my point in a horrifically colourful way Big Grin

She wants to get rid of solar farms.
In an energy crisis where I believe that 4% of our energy comes from.

She want to have regional pay boards for civil servants work, NHS workers & police Which means that they can pay them at a lower level (up North)

She wants to get cut holiday allowance for the about

She wants to scrap diversity training for civil servants & get rid of the staff running them

So much for levelling up, plus she her solution to fill the staff shortages in certain sectors is to "encourage" people on benefits off benefits & into work, in other words force people to take up jobs otherwise they'll get benefits sanctions!

How long would it take the other Scottish Parties to get rid of a Tory First Minister may I ask?

If Truss wins I can see her blanking Nicola at PMQ's I don't think it's right to call wee Nicola an Attention seeker and Nicola will probably put guards on Hadrian's Wall to stop Truss entering Scotland. That will make Truss more annoyed I bet.

^

FACT CHECK
Nicola Sturgeon is not an MP so does not sit in the House of Commons and therefore Truss could not "blank her" in there. Hadrian's Wall is not the border between England & Scotland

Holiday allowance is the official name for how many holidays that you get. They usually vary between 20 - 30 days per year (not including bank holidays). The more service that you have worked, the more holidays that you get.

And I must point out that Hadrian's Wall is in England.

I recently heard a story (on I think an old episode of 'Have I Got News For You') that in a recent election count, it was discovered that on one ballot paper - which was verging on spoilt but may well have been counted - a voter had written the word "wank" in the box against each of the candidates except one where they had instead written the words "Not Wank". Big Laugh

In other words Skully let pepole decice who they trust more in a General Election?

I just wonder how many will even bother to vote within the party members knowing how this goverment has acted has pissed off a great many people from even voting in a General Election even now I think whoever wins the leadership has their work cut out to even avoid a General Strike atm, the way thinkgs are going.
