I think rebooting it is probably a mistake (not everything needs a reboot ffs), but I don't have a problem with them changing Buffy's race.
I'd prefer them to do some sort of reboot/continuation of Firefly, maybe as an animation with the original cast doing the voices.

Not sure can be set in college nowadays what with all the snowflakes they will be wanting safe spaces for Vampires and Vamp lifes matter
depends on what they do with it if its a straight up reboot not sure it would work but if they set it contemporary then wouldnt mind it the being black thing doesnt bother me becuse was Black slayers before in the show the principles mum in the later series was the son of a slayer

well, the first slayer was black as the slayers originated in africa? colour or race is of no consequence to me. it's all about the feel and chemistry. will it have humour? lot's of questions.

Seeing we all came out of a cave in south africa that would be the case
yeah main appeal was the comedy elements to it would have prefered a buffy the next generation with the kids of the main characters
Sad they never did ripper the Giles origin story would have been cool

Buffy has been rebooted once before. Buffy started as a very cheesy comedy horror film in 1992 starring Kristy Swanson as Buffy

Was a marvel comic before that as well
