If I was on that Tory voting list I would think twice about here I put my cross or send my ballot in spoilt because to me this has been a farce that should have been settled by the wider public in a snap election the minute Boris resigned and our trouble is as a nation is- just when are we going to wake up and realise just how much BS that comes from MP's that really when put into practice does very little good on the ground? Even when they try to fix it it, becomes a far bigger mess and eventually irreversible. and So much for levelling up that it's hardly moved no further than basement level lol. The Tory party should rot in opposition for a hundred years for what Boris did.

I doubt very many of the things either are saying they will do will actually happen but it sadly is the sign of how divorced from the majority of people in this country they have become.

Yep including Rishi Sunak saying his solution to the employment shortage is to tighten up the welfare system & force people off benefits & into work!!! saying there are far too many people on benefits who aren't working even though most people who claim benefits are actually in work including around 40% of people on universal credit!!!!!! Or are on the state pension

When in doubt, the Tories go after the poor, the sick and the disabled, why, because they consistently screw over the poor, sick and disabled. Time and time again it's been proved that the Tories and their right wing newspaper mates have lied and deceived us all, massaging stats so that poverty numbers change in their favour (they loved changing the definition of child poverty), they feign ignorance about food banks continuing to be on the rise, now with fuel poverty becoming very serious for everyone, including working families,, where does he go, after those on benefits, again, they are a broken record. Help everyone, not just your voters and rich mates or fuck off.

It's shameful but expected, because well, they are Tories after all. I'm sorry (not really sorry), but if you still vote for these two, just because you've always voted Tory, you are not only part of the problem, you are ignorant to the plight of others!

Choosing between Truss and Sunak is a bit like choosing between sticking your dick in a bacon slicer or sticking your balls in a deep fat fryer.
The alternative would be to keep Boris which would be akin to both at the same time with the added red hot poker rammed up your butthole.
I mean FFS Rolleyes.

I was going to add red hot candle wax on your dick too but that would probably begoing way too far even by Tory standards.BounceeekTongue I'd rather ram the poker up Boris' butthole

Either way, I think both of their policies on the current crisis (the energy prices, inflation) probably would not stop our economy sliding into recession, as the price rises are rising way faster than they or anyone anticipated and Sunak should done something at the first sign of trouble. the Bank of England say it will last a year but I have a feeling it could be longer and would take twice as long to bring inflation under control. Not only that I feel the rift between Unions and Government will only grow wider and will pose further risk to economic recovery and often wonder if having low interest rates for so long has been an issue too. Boris chose the wrong moment to go on holiday and really to be bloody honest, parliament should be recalled and the joke of a contest should be brought to an earlier conclusion as possible as waiting till September 5th probably is not in the country's interest. I think the quicker the leadership is announced, recalling parliament would be the their first priority.

I think whichever way the Tory faithful vote I hope they are proud of themselves for entrusting Boris as leader when they voted last time in a contest
