Eh.........what about the fact that Spencer fucking Tunick's naked states was shown during the day today which was also a Sunday. Seen more on that than is ever shown on a babe channel day or night. It's amazing what can happen if you fire everything you've got at ofcom. Why should we have to tolerate this watered down rat's piss night after night. Spencer Tunick is only one example of clear inconsistencys right across the whole board of the SKY EPG. Do the babe channels have a case for defence, ofcourse they do and if anybody on this forum thinks any different then they obviously haven't done their research properly. RE: Rubbish Night Tonight On The Babe Channels - dan g 27 - 17-06-2012 21:59 The babe channels if they have the will power to do so, should go to the The Star or The Guardian and tell them that Ofcom are being unfair with their rules, it would put a little pressure on Ofcom in my opinion RE: Ofcom Discussion - Scottishbloke - 17-06-2012 22:33 In responce to Don firstly the reason I posted my ofcom views on the rubbish night on the babe channels thread is very simple because ofcom is the be all and end as far as the babe channels are concerned and I fear that not enough people on this forum are fully aware of their existence. Ofcom is what drives and powers the engines of what has become the UK babe channels. In regards to ofcom rules not even einstein would be able to figure out how they think or operate, the only understanding we all have of ofcom at the moment is that it is an organisation that is run by power, greed and complete control. As for the babes being allowed to go naked, well not exactly, you see unless you are allowed to see the vagina well that's not exactly naked as far as I'm concerned. It's insinuating nakedness without actually being naked, if the model is forced to cover the front area then it is nothing more than an illusion as far as I'm concerned. But not to mention ofcom when we're talking about the babe channels outside this section is a tad unrealitic. Whilst censorship exists we have to get the message through to as many forum members that is possible. As John Lennon famously said - Power To The People. In the current climate, couch meat-beaters having their free-to-air telly porn curtailed is never going to glean much sympathy/concern, or command many column inches. I urge that unless anybody has anything that is constructive to say and in what will effectively help the babe channels then their post is of no help or use or relevance whatsoever. I thought Dan put a very good point across by suggesting the babe channel execs perhaps go to the newspapers, I wouldn't hold out much hope however for the Guardian as that paper has allways been very conservative and by that I mean the meaning and not the party, as for the Daily Star well I would give that a realistic chance as would I with the Sun too because like the Star they too like to have a Page 3 girl. If the babe channel execs were to persist more then they could perhaps back ofcom into a corner into renegotiating the hideous rules that currently exist. RE: Ofcom Discussion - mr mystery - 17-06-2012 23:30 There has been instances were the broadcaster has been found in breach for giving the illusion that the girls were naked . Ofcom found Asian babes in breach for content shown on the 20th of March 2010 , someone complained that the Asian girls were shown full frontal and naked , the licence holder at that time for the Asian babe channel was "House of Fun Limited" House of Fun said the complainer was wrong and the girls had got knickers on , Ofcom viewed the footage of this alleged nudity and conceded that the girls were wearing knickers, but because the girls knickers were fleshed toned Ofcom said that in their opinion the flesh tone of the knickers was intended by the broadcaster to give the impression that the girls were not wearing underwear, so Ofcom found them in breach for giving the impression of nudity along with other stuff that was shown that night . Ofcom did their usual and mentioned that this sort of material is to strong to be shown unencrypted and could easily be viewed by minors etc , but no full frontal nudity was shown , the girls had knickers on , so how can any harm or offence take place ? . This judgement just goes to show what vindictive wankers Ofcom are . It's not a life or death issue, and besides, porn and the use thereof, is something that's accepted/tolerated without being talked about much by anyone in the media. Check out the undercurrent of unease that builds in this clip as Jimmy Carr and Sean Lock try and poke fun at Babestation. There's something awkward about the way Carr broaches the subject (he slips in a get-out-clause for himself by implying that he only finds these programmes by chance when he's channel-surfing). Seen and not seen.
