Never give up the fight against ofcom!!!!!

What would he say about those encouraging others to tear their own tongues out? Smile

Yes Rammy I just find your we can't do anything about it to change it attitude just defeatist. As for enjoying the shows we are getting meanwhile I don't agree on that one at all, I fail to see how anybody can get any kind of enjoyment out of watching this shit. As for the babe channels dearly wanting to take ofcom on, I see no evidence of any challenge ever taken place.

No just to accept thats the way things are gets you nowhere and I'm glad this country never took this attitude when it came to defeating Nazi Germany.

No it took men with balls of steel and a never say die approach that in the end to use your words trounced facsist regimes in which good men prevailed.

Time the babe channel execs stand up and fight properly. I mean what the fucks wrong with this country, we stood up to Hitler so why can't we do likewise with ofcom and take these bastards on for all their worth.

I've given up on the night shows now some channels have good sets but sacred to push the limit and most channels don't do anything. To be honest the day shows are better

RE: Ofcom Discussion - broncobilly10 - 18-06-2012 18:16

Its up to the channels to change how they are viewed by ofcom. If they can run there shows on a constant basis with no breech's then they will probably be ok again but its there own product and how they make money so they need to defend it better than they have done.

clearly lots of people do enjoy the shows, both on here as its pretty much just you that's posting regular rants in here about how bad the shows are. away from the forum the shows seem to be getting lots of calls etc. if you dont like the shows then dont watch

as for the babechannel execs stand up and fight ofcom. ive said several times that they would love to take ofcom on but its not worth the hassle. jamie (elitetv) himself said this as he thinks the babechannels are over regulated

i dont think im being defeatist im just being realistic as i know the shows will be like this for a while yet and what has my attitude got to to with the uk & ireland fighting the nazis?

RE: Ofcom Discussion - broncobilly10 - 18-06-2012 18:30

If they don't think its worth fighting for then they deserve to fail.

RE: Ofcom Discussion - dan g 27 - 18-06-2012 18:37

One day the channels will have to wake up and realise if they do not stand up to Ofcom that things will get worst for them. Some people I think have even left the forum, because they feel the shows are boring. A few weeks ago, things looked like they were picking up, but lately have gone a little stale

So you're comparing the campaign in opposition to a quango authorised by parliament to regulate television phonewank channels with the fight for national survival against one of the most murderous totalitarian regimes the world has ever seen.

Hmmmm, interesting.

I can't think of anything that the Babe Channels can use as leverage against Ofcom.

Oh and I've signed the petition - three times all under different names.

Surely Ofcom wouldnt be vindictive? Hmm. :-(

Signatures - thats what we need. Getting there.
