RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - Skyline - 20-10-2018 11:09 This a short clip of the behind the scenes of the 4th season of The Expanse. The show was cancelled by Sci-Fi in May 2018 reportedly because of restrictive distribution arrangements, however fans of the show protested the cancellation and started a 'Save The Expanse' campaign, part of this was to hire a plane with a banner displayed saying save the expanse and fly it over Amazon studios. Other celebrities that backed the campaign and renewal of the show was: George R. R. Martin, Wil Wheaton, Andreas Mogensen and Patton Oswalt. Thankfully it worked and got the attention of Amazon who have now picked up this excellent series and will consist of 10 episodes and will more than likely air in 2019 RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - *Kal-El* - 20-10-2018 12:42 With Luke Cage being cancelled the other shows are safe for now with Daredevil expecting a 4th season, Jessica Jones is getting a 3rd season and is being filmed or should be finished, The Punisher is getting a 2nd season and has been filmed. Iron Fist and Luke Cage could pop up in the other shows or could pair up for a new show in the future out never know. All the Disney films will go to there streaming service but the shows will stay on Netflix due to Disney’s family policy on there streaming service. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - Skyline - 02-11-2018 14:45 A new instalment of Penny Dreadful is in the works titled 'Penny Dreadful: City Of Angels'. The original show which I followed and was a big fan of, especially the oustanding performances of Eva Green in multiple episodes, took place in Victorian era London. This new instalment will be set in 1938 Los Angeles and will explore an 'exciting mix of the supernatural and the combustible reality of that period'. New characters and storylines will begin. John Logan (series creator) will return to write and executive produce. I really enjoyed the 3 seasons from this already but a lot of that was down to the excellent cast and storylines. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - bigguy01 - 02-11-2018 18:44 really enjoyed penny dreadful and this is good news, I love it if they link them in some way. penny dreadful and channel zero are the two most disturbing shows on tv. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - Skyline - 07-11-2018 12:44 There's a Breaking Bad movie in the works, Vince Gilligan is writing a 2 hour project. It is unclear at this time whether it's a prequel or a follow up and no confirmation yet whether the original stars including Bryan Cranston will return but what is Breaking Bad without Walter White?. In the movie industry the Breaking Bad movie is being referred to as 'Greenbrier'. This was another great TV Series with a great cast, which at first it didn't really take off but grew as it went through the seasons and quickly became a hit tv show. Bryan Cranston was excellent as Walter White/Heisenberg as was Aaron Paul as Jesse Pinkman. Looking forward to this one when it happens. RE: US TV Shows - Discussion (Inc New Shows/Cancellations) - *Kal-El* - 08-11-2018 23:23 It’s been confirmed that Cassisn Andor from Star Wars Rogue One will be getting his own live action series. |
