I know what Doddle is saying about the number of actors, but this isn't the same as the number of doctors. Continuity is important in the show and I feel it's appropriate to refer to the established sequence as specified in the show.It was established that he was the 11th when he started, but Hurt came along after that, and Moffat for his own reasons decided to use the other regen and claim that Matt was at the end of his cycle. Doddle, for goodness sake give it a rest. You're wrong on your belief of the numbering, that's all I'm saying. I've explained the chronology enough times now, but if you still don't see it there's no further point in me trying any more. Believe whatever you want, but everything I've stated is the established truth in the continuity of the show. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 19-07-2017 20:36 I was pretty sure I was agreeing with you... or at least agreeing to disagree RE: Dr Who - Regenerated - 19-07-2017 22:50 (19-07-2017 20:36 )Doddle Wrote: I was pretty sure I was agreeing with you... or at least agreeing to disagree Alright Doddle, I'm sorry. Timing malfunction. Apologies. RE: Dr Who - Doddle - 21-07-2017 13:09 Peter Davison has expressed reservations about casting a woman, and Colin Baker has bit his head off (ah, a food metaphor for Colin, oh well). RE: Dr Who - Rammyrascal - 21-07-2017 13:35 John Barrowman wore a brilliant outfit at this year's San Diego Comic Con to show his support to Jodie I'm with Colin Baker in this spat he's had with Peter Davidson. Hopefully that's more money on other production values. Or not : http://www.standard.co.uk/showbiz/celebrity-news/bbc-s-tony-hall-confirms-doctor-who-s-jodie-whittaker-will-be-paid-the-same-as-peter-capaldi-after-a3592211.html Wonder if that was always going to be the case? It makes Whittaker the highest paid female in a BBC drama I believe. Also one of the top couple of women being paid for one job there. Jodie Whitaker is a performer with a far greater acting range than the pedestrian Kris Marshall. Other possible female possibilities for me would have been the excellent Romola Garai or a lady with some sci-fi background the scrummy Hayley Atwell. |
