RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 11-02-2024 14:20 Dart lost her singles semi-final, but won through to the Women's Doubles final. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 11-02-2024 19:39 I see Sky Sports have their own tennis channel now. They have got rights to ATP and WTA events in a large quantity as well as the US Open. No objections from me. Well done them both for being finalists, even in such piffling tournaments. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 25-02-2024 13:47 Cameron Norrie made the Rio Open semi-finals, but lost handsomely to some qualifier called Mavone, or Navone. He won it last year, and did well to make it to the semis. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 01-03-2024 21:38 Whisper it quietly but maybe Katie Boulter is starting to find her way. San Diego Open, a WTA 500 event. Wins over number 2 seed Beatriz Haddad Maia and now number 7 seed Donna Vekic have propelled Boulter into her first ever WTA 500 semi final. Something special may be brewing here..... RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 03-03-2024 07:56 Into the final. This time beating the number 3 seed Emma Navarro 6-3 6-1. Boulter now faces number 6 seed Marta Kostyuk of Ukraine for the title. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 03-03-2024 13:36 Jack Draper had to retire in the semi-finals of the Mexican Open. also, Neal Skupski (and friend) lost the Men's Doubles final at the same Mexican event. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Snooks - 04-03-2024 04:06 Katie Boulter is a WTA 500 title winner. She beat Marta Kostyuk 5-7 6-2 6-2 to claim the biggest win of her career and rise to 27th in the world rankings. What a superb week for her. RE: Tennis Discussion Thread - Doddle - 04-03-2024 13:35 Amazing stuff; hopefully she can kick on with it.
