RE: Chelsea FC - cosmonaut - 21-05-2012 21:42 It's good to see that the world leaders realised the importance of the Champions League final and stopped their discussions to watch it. Prime Minister David Cameron, an Aston Villa fan, is seen cheering Chelsea during the penalty shoot out. Next to him Barack Obama seems to be enjoying it too. RE: Chelsea FC - Phoenix - 22-05-2012 12:13 Was it just me that was at bit peeved a Bosingwa and Kalou at the trophy presentation? I mean fair enough you gotta milk the once-in-a-lifetime experience, but would it hurt to just move out of the way for 5 seconds? I’ve waited years for that iconic moment when JT, Lamps and co. lift the trophy, but all you can see is a giant unibrow and a shitty spider haircut RE: Chelsea FC - William H Bonney - 22-05-2012 12:27 One name off the list for next Chelsea manager is Jose Mourinho, who has agreed a new contract with Real Madrid it was announced today. The new deal is for 4 years and should end speculation about him leaving Madrid for Chelsea or anywhere else. Actually might put a bet on that This was the moment in extra time when Robben might have scored that crucial goal, but Cech kept his penalty out. RE: Chelsea FC - broncobilly10 - 22-05-2012 17:08 Can chelsea fans really be happy with terry leading the troops on the bus? He let them down by getting a silly red card he had nothing to do with the victory. Terry might have fucked up in 1 game but fact he missed out on playing in the final would have hurt him more then anything. He also featured so heavily in past games so I think you're speaking a bit out of turn. If that had been Gerrard I'm sure you'd still have liked to have seen him up with the rest of the team. RE: Chelsea FC - admin. - 22-05-2012 21:29 Chelsea statement: "Chelsea Football Club can confirm Didier Drogba will be leaving the club when his contract expires at the end of June. Didier has spent 8 years at Chelsea, and everyone at the club would like to thank him for his service and wish him luck and continued success for the future. Chelsea Chief Executive Ron Gourlay said: 'Didier is undoubtedly a Chelsea legend and will always be part of the Chelsea family. He is certainly leaving on a high after Saturday night but he feels the time is right for a new challenge.'" |
