what a result beating that millwall scum Smile Smile Smile never thought after losing at cov we would go on to beat soton and millwall, this gives me hope that we could get midtable mediocrity this year and i would be more than happy with that

After the start Bristol had survival of any kind would be welcome I'd imagine. I can't see you keeping hold of Maynard though so a replacement will be needed. Fair play to your gaffer though, has done a decent job since taking over.

i will be glad to see the back of Maynard his hart has not been in it this year as her want's to go to the prem and i think if someone gave us 3-4 mill for him the club would take it
as for replacements we have them already Brett Pitman is a direct replacement and i think in the long run will be a better player and we also have John Stead back fit and he is a top player at this level

one of my mates at work is a shots fan and he tells me you have one of the smallest budgets in the league but still thinks you will be ok and i hope he is right Smile

Maynard is a decent player, but you're right he is looking to move on. All the time he is in a City shirt and scoring will be a bonus though. Pittman is a decent player, saw him several times over the years for Bournemouth. Will cause defenders havoc and has a knack of being in the place at the right time.

John Stead is actually someone we were hoping would perhaps join us, at least short term as he has been in the City reserves for some time. A name that had been touted, although I fear far to huge in expense, even on a loan deal Sad

Thanks Winsaw, I can't believe you work with a 'Shot, small world! Yes the budget was cut significantly. Some fans would do well to remember that. We are playing some decent football, just lacking any sort of fire power up front right now! Sad

As Portsmouth are about to get new owners I thought it would be useful to recap the situation so far, as even if anyone's actually interested in this they have probably lost track. I think this is the story to date.

owned by mad Serbian bloke, who did at least appoint Harry Redknapp as manager
owned by a partnership between mysterious Russian bloke and mad Serbian bloke
owned by mysterious Russian bloke, although his dad was alleged to also be involved
owned by mysterious Arab bloke
owned by even more mysterious Arab bloke who is rumoured not to really exist
owned by Arab brothers who put convicted Israeli fraudster in charge of running the club
owned by consortium, headed by Indian bloke who lives in Hong Kong
oh dear, now in adminstration
owned outright by Indian bloke who lives in Hong Kong
owned by another Russian bloke who's currently under arrest and has all his assets frozen
oh dear, in administration again
and now what????

I'm not sure how many owners this is. It depends on whether Ali al Faraj actually exists and whether the Russian bloke who's currently under arrest really had 2 co-owners or not. By the way, in case anyone's actually reading this the mad Serbian bloke's case for financial misdemeanours comes up in court next week. The Russian bloke under arrest has been bailed by the way, but his assets are still frozen worldwide, so he can't get the club out of administration, so that leaves us with....????

Looks like the scummers night has gone from bad to worse. Now 2-0 down to Leicester . I hope they win 3-2, would hate to see the pikeys win the the league!

Portsmouth may not get new owners after all, as the club as it stands are due to be wound up on 20 Feb which complicates the sale process. This is about as bad as things can get without ceasing to exist. Sad
