Siddle has bowled two beauties to get Cook and Strauss out. Important for KP and Trott to calm things down and build the lead steadily. I hope Collingwood gets some much needed time in the middle at some point too. There is a hint of two pacedness about the pitch which may be troublesome later in the game if by any chance England have to chase anything down in the 4th innings of the match. Keep it steady England, dont chuck your wickets away now and hang in there against the new ball when it comes.

Ponting's behaviour was in fact worse than disgraceful, far far worse. He picked the wrong sport if he wants to behave in that fashion, he should have taken up football. All his good deeds as Austalia's captain will now be forgotten, THIS will be his legacy, and it serves him right. Being the captain of a sinking ship and his own lousy form are no excuse, those are HIS problems, not the umpires. After the disastrous cricketing summer, the world is watching him behave like this?

Best thing you can do Ricky, is jump before you are pushed.

We are on 444 Nelson x4... It's bound to mean bad luck. I'm having to spend the whole day on one foot.

And Colino, I can't understand what you mean about Ricky Ponting disgraceful behavour. He's always behaved like this.
He's Captain fantastic when he's winning but he blames everyone else when thing go wrong.
At least Peter Siddle has a smile on his face when decisions go against him.
