Schwarzer deal makes sense only for chelsea point of view, they got cover for the year until courtois comes back but if you consider it for mark, he wants to feature in the World Cup but surely his gonna he on the bench for most of the season with the exception of a league cup run so don't get how it benefits him

getting a move to one of the top clubs at 40 years old is very rare, i can't seeing him playing much though

Take it with a pinch of salt but a Spanish Radio station is reporting that Thiago's transfer away from Barcelona could be announced as soon as tomorrow as he has decided to join...... Bayern Munich!!

Not that the Spanish are very reliable - their press is worse than ours!

I read that Bayern have shown interest in him but have not made an offer and the player himself favours a move to Old Trafford. It's the height of the silly season though so whatever is read in the press has to be taken lightly until they are seen signing the paperwork.

Southampton sign Victor Wanyama on a four year deal from Celtic.
Fee undisclosed

They could be a decent team this season Southampton. Lovren, Wanyama, maybe Damiao?

Fully agree. Talented young full back, Luke Shaw has apparently decided to remain at Southampton rather than move to bigger clubs. With gifted players such as Ramirez and Llalana also opting to stay, they could well be a top ten team this season.

David Moyes is decidedly growing on me. When asked about Rooney leaving he simply said , “Unless I was speaking double dutch I think we said Wayne Rooney is not for sale and will remain a Manchester United player". When asked if he was concerned with Bayerns interest in Thiago, he simply stated he wasn't as he had never said he was interested in the first placelaugh

It is a bit of a joke really this whole Wayne Rooney story. I know people blab on and on about how they like the clubs showing there intent that no 1 is bigger than the club it's self n all that shit... But FFS! this is a player who asked for a 2nd time to leave the CLUB.

It basically makes united look stupid tbh if he doesn't go in my opinion there keeping a player who obviously doesn't want to be at the club laughable

Fair enough put in a transfer request once I get that people make mistakes and wrong options. But a 2nd time then it's laugh at united for making him stay and keeping a player who makes the club look stupid
