RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - jimminybob - 12-02-2016 16:34 Well the floodlights have just failed, that's our best chance I reckon RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Snooks - 12-02-2016 17:41 Dropped catches again. England simply cannot afford to keep committing this cardinal sin especially with a below par score. Every chance must be seized. Looking ominous now . RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Mellow - 12-02-2016 19:25 South Africa 266-9 in 47.2 overs win by 1 wicket. Series now 2-2 with the decider on Sunday. RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - lancealot790 - 12-02-2016 21:40 Well done Rashid RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Charlemagne - 12-02-2016 23:26 Missed catches, missed stumping chance, missed hitting the stumps from 2 yards away. Missed the bus RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Snooks - 12-02-2016 23:31 Too many errors for a test match let alone an ODI. Very, very poor. RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Jay1 - 12-02-2016 23:39 A trait that's all too familiar and common with the England cricket team. Win a few games and arrogance and complacency sets in. History over the last 10 years hasn't been learnt from. The last test of the series v Australia, the last test of the SA series and the last 2 performances v SA in this ODI series. Summed up by Reece Topley's talk of winning 5-0 after going 2-0 up. Win the series first. RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - setter1000 - 13-02-2016 00:31 Both the last two games we were in winning positions but failed to make it count. In the previous game if Root did not get run out I realy do believe we would gave posted a winning total and in the game just gone, how many catching chances do we need before we make one? Also Morgan could have run up to the stumps and still run that bstsmen out. He released the ball far earlier than he needed. Think SA are going to turn us over in the final match. If anything when batting England were trying too hard. They went out with all guns blazing, thinking they needed to get 400 in this match, whereas with a little more measured batting they could have easily reached 300, which we now know would have been enough. Of course it's easy to be wise with the benefit of hindsight, but rather than being complacent I thought the batsman were trying too hard. RE: South Africa vs England 2015/16 - Charlemagne - 14-02-2016 08:51 The 5th & deciding ODI is underway from Cape Town. South Africa again won the toss and have put England into bat. Current score 63-1 off 11 overs |
