The goal they scored against England is one of my favourite moments in this World Cup. Such wild and joyous celebrations from their supporters, even though they were 6-1 down.

We're halfway through the tournament now, with 32 of the 64 matches played. Groups A and B will conclude today, although Russia and Uruguay are already qualified from Group A. Iran still have a chance in Group B, but need to beat Portugal unless Spain lose to Morocco, in which case a draw for Iran might do.

Even though Iran are out, hope their FA lodges an appeal to have Ronaldo's yellow card upgraded to Red and send that Ref home in disgrace
