Whoever does win they must know they are simply going to get clobbered in a GE as they were part of an ungovernable Government who were so inept at delivering the wishes of it's citizens.

I'd like to see Jeremy Hunt win for the sole reason that news readers across the English speaking world will be shitting themselves in fear of calling him Jeremy Cunt.......Victoria Derbyshire is the latest I've seen falling into the trap Bounce

Esther McVey on LBC today saying we need to cut the foreign aid budget and not spend it on wayward projects like airports that planes cannot land on because it was built in the wrong direction and cross winds make it impossible to land. She was asked where that happened and she replied "it's eh eh eh in one of the eh eh continents abroad". It actually happened in Saint Helena which is a British Overseas Territory.

Boris Johnson launched his campaign with the slogan "Back Boris" which kind of some him up really, I mean you would think someone who wants to be the leader of the country would go for a unifying slogan like that everyone could feel like they could get behind and would appeal to the Brexit attitude like "Back Britain", instead he has opted for the slogan that was entirely self indulgent and speaks to his core belief of opportunism

Esther McVey has now claimed £8,750 on expenses for a pro photographer while other MP's claimed less for a pro photographer I hope by this being leaked not only does it bite her on the arse in this contest but also in a GE. I am sick to death with the MP's claiming something on expenses when with the salaries they earn, they could easily pay for it out of their own pocket rather than raiding the public purse strings. I think the way she handled the implementation of UC I hope will not see her get past the first ballot round. I very much hope that the more expenses that can be revealed during the contest the more the public can see the CONservatives for what they are.

And what does she plan to do with this foreign aid budget cut?

Boris' slogan speaks for itself really. I think what would settle this contest clearly once and for all is you know they do this quiz thing with the US president?
We should do something similar except do it on Mastermind and no specialist subjects, 2 rounds British political history questions and the most obscure general knowledge questions possible. Winner is the one with the least number of passes Tongue Tongue Big Grin

RE: Next PM - Tumble_Drier - 13-06-2019 17:17

With any luck we'll never have to hear McVey's horrible fucking voice ever again.
