Actually the Season 1 was a lot shorter it’s only after the pilot and the couple eps on they were increased the season count plus because of the budget that’s why it’s not as long as the DC with season 2 depending on the success it will either increase or stay the same.
There extended editions of certain Eps which was done to encourage people you rewatch the Eps on CW App and usually available on the Blu Ray.
