The Pro Bowl has always been a none-event, it has never been played at 100% so maybe the non-contact flag football format is a better idea. The actual honour of getting selected for the respective AFC & NFC squads it what matters most.

I'm backing Eagles to win as I think very few teams have won one year then reached a second consecutive SB and retained the title

Will he stay at the Bucks or will he retire.

However there is a 3rd option which is being talked about, and that's to join former 49er's defensive coach Robert Saleh, who is now the head coach at the New York Jets.

It's now been announced that he's going to retire.

He had 7 superbowl wins.
It's quite amazing that he amassed 7 wins, I think he was injured for quite a while I think too but I'm sure that his body told him. Probably one of the best QB for a long time.

Eagles are favourites, but it's so hard to back against Mahomes the Magician. This is a fascinating contest, Eagles have the best defense, & will look to stick to their gameplan of running the ball, a lot, with their backs & Hurts himself. If they can control the clock with long drives it will limit the time for Mahomes to do his stuff & should keep the game close.

From an early stage in this competition I've backed Kansas City to win. Been so impressed with their offensive plays. They're very slick and have blown teams away this season.

They are as Boomer said though, up against the toughest defense. I expect Philadelphia to smother the passes and grind out the charges to run the clock down, but I think KC's superior attacking players will get them over the line.

Interestingly, some bookies have made the Eagles favourites, despite Mahomes' brilliance this season. bladewave

Super Bowls are often disappointing, this one lived up to my expectations. The Eagles surprised me with their aggressive passing game, but still achieved a similar result as the dominated the clock in the first half. Hurts aside, the running game wasn't a factor, as the Chiefs defense did a great job. An almost textbook half by Hurts, with the only blemish being his fumble which was returned for a touchdown. You could argue that it was the difference between the 2 sides.
The 2nd half was flipped on its head with this time KC scoring 3 td's. I was going to add in yesterday's post that it would more than likely boil down to who had the final possession. It pretty much played out that way, although there was something of an anticlimax with KC managing the clock, & at one point staying in bounds turning down the chance of an easy touchdown in an effort to limit the time for the Eagles to reply.
Much will no doubt be made of the holding call, which may well have given Hurts a last chance with more time, but technically speaking it was holding, maybe a 50/50 call.
Hurts can hold his head up, as he had a record equaling 3 rushing td's, but Mahomes finally delivered in a Super Bowl after a couple of indifferent performances. Much credit has to go to the improved O-line, as the League's best defense hardly put a finger on Mahomes.

He did, and after it appeared for all money that he wouldn't make the end with that injury, so fair play to him! I was just a little disappointed that some felt the officials should not have called that foul/penalty so late in the game, as it 'spoilt'the conclusion?? Don't get that?..either foul play is called or it isn't, the time remaining in the game should surely be irrelevant!

NB Just a quick mention of Rihanna! I am not an out - and - out fan, but I do like quite a few of her better known songs. Last night, after so long away, she was brilliant (heart in mouth though at the high platforms)eek! You have to give it to the U.S. To consistently pull this half - time show together year after year, is spectacular!
