England won the World Cup, but Ireland beat them in the group stage. So that means that it's Ireland who are the best team in the world

I really enjoyed that match today was a tough pitch for batting but we made it look easy enough in the end,
The was we started in the group stage didn't think we would we it,
Really shows what a great group of players they are

England are now holders of both white- ball World Cups. Next challenge will be to defend their ODI title in India from October-November 2023.

So pleased for Curran to be officially named player of the final and of the tournament.
All through his death bowling was immaculate and he took some crucial scalps at important moments.
To cap it all with 3 wickets for 12 runs off 4 overs in the final is just sensational.
