Texans 26 - 16 49ers
The Texans were the 2nd ranked defence leading into this game & 1st in touchdowns allowed. The 49erswere limited to 223 total yards, of which just 48 were on the ground. The managed only 12 first downs.
By comparison the Texans had 475 total yards, Stroud completed 30/39 passes for 318 yards 2TDs & 1 int. They dominated time of possession with 41 minutes & 22 seconds, it's a surprise that the margin of victory wasn't greater.
If the Niners have any ambition to be a playoff team they will have to make some big decisions regarding bringing some impact players especially on defence, that is dependant on the required quality otherwise they will have no other option but to struggle on. Another consideration is how strengthen their roster will affect their salary cap into next season & beyond.

Steelers 25 - 35 Packers
This game was notable as it was the first & maybe last time that Rodgers faced his former team, whilst there were flashes of his old magic it was never enough against an aggressive Packers defence. With no significant running game it was all left to Rodgers & his arm to move the ball. Far too often they had to settle for field goals & they only converted 1/10 on 3rd down. Rodgers escaped the pass rush at times, but the pressure was significant & he was sacked 3 times.
Love, who was mentored by Rodgers came out of the great mans shadow on the night, he tied a Packers record achieved by non other than Brett Favre in 2007 when he completed 20 consecutive passes. He finished with 29/37, 360 yards, 3 TDs. On National Tight End Day Tucker Kraft led the league in reception yards with 143 from 7 catches & 2 TDs.

Bengals 38 - 39 Jets
The jets finally win a game this season after a disastrous start, this came on the back of harsh criticism of QB Fields from owner Woody Johnson.
The Bengals had led throughout, & held a 38-24 advantage with a little over 10 minutes remaining in the 4th quarter. Fields had help on the night with Breece Hall rushing for 133 yards & 2 TDs, & Isaiah Davis had 109 yard combined receiving & rushing.
Hall capped off a great game by throwing the game tying TD pass to Taylor on a run option play. The extra point was good & the Jets held on for their first win.
