Her semi final opponent Eva Lys retired ill with Kartal leading 5-1 in the first set.

The Briton will face Rebecca Sramkova of Slovakia in the title match.

She has beaten Rebecca Sramkova 6-3 7-5 to win the Jasmin Open. Congrats to her.

His record of 14 French Open Wins 'will probably never be broken' acccording to former British No.1 Greg Rusedski.
In paing tribute to Rafa I think his greatest asset along with how graceful he was around the court is he coupled it with a humility the kept his feet on the ground. I can oly imagine how many more titles & Slams he could have won had he not had the injuries.

I do hope the French Open organisers will mark his acheivemernts in some way and I think it is s nice touch that he is retiring after the Davis Cup Final and in some ways too it is a shame he couldn't retire at the Roland Garros.

Enjoy your deserved retirement Rafa, your tenacity, your exciting style of play, and your sportsmanship will be very much missed . It now sees Djokovic as the last player still active from that era and we should look back on this Tennis' greatest era in the modern game.
