The GB riders went right back and broke it back in their semi. The final should be good. RE: Olympics - Charlemagne - 13-08-2016 15:41 After the Heptathlon long jump. Jessica is in the lead with KTJ in 2nd place. Update: This was just an update from what I think was after the 2nd round of the long jump RE: Olympics - SecretAgent - 13-08-2016 15:50 (13-08-2016 15:41 )Charlemagne Wrote: After the Heptathlon long jump. Thought Thiam was in the lead by 5 points from Jess RE: Olympics - HannahsPet - 13-08-2016 16:00 She is but next 2 events are not her strongest RE: Olympics - Snooks - 13-08-2016 16:09 Thiam's javelin is a major strength with a PB of 52.62m set THIS YEAR. Jess has a PB of 48.33 set in 2013!! Jess now has a potentially BIG problem. Already trailing by 5 points. Thiam has been on fire in the throwing and jumping events. If that continues and she matches or betters her Javelin PB then it will leave Jess needing to get somewhere near her PB to limit the damage before the 800m. Jess badly needs a good javelin throw. If she fails to produce it and Thiam fires then the deficit could be too big even bearing in mind the PB time difference in the 800m. At this moment in time it is too close to call but make no mistake. Thiam is a very big threat for Gold. Am I worried? No.......... I'm absolutely fekkin petrified . |
