RE: Formula 1 - ShadyAFC - 26-03-2025 22:07 If the rumours are true it'll be interesting to see how Yuki performs in the RB car... can't be any worse than Lawson tho, lol. Think it's shocking that they've dropped him after 2 races but that seat shoulda been Yuki's from the start imo RE: Formula 1 - lovebabes56 - 27-03-2025 11:44 Will Hamilton appeal the disqualification as it was a technical one? or would Ferarri have to lodge the appeal? Don't think they can since it was a slam dunk rule breach, and they released a statemen pretty much accepting both dq's RE: Formula 1 - Tumble_Drier - 27-03-2025 21:26 ^Assuming the rules haven't changed much since I last bothered to read any of them, the "plank" (i.e.the Skid Block under the car and not David Croft) is measured AND weighed to assess whether the car is too low or not. 1mm of wear and 90% of the weight rings a bell for some reason. The Teams usually just man-up and take the DQ as it's almost impossible to appeal. They might be able to argue a mechanical failure caused the damage but that would probably ruin the Driver's race anyway. RE: Formula 1 - dundeered - 28-03-2025 12:14 This seems too harsh. Red Bull have not given Lawson a fair chance. https://www.skysports.com/f1/news/12433/13334979/liam-lawson-set-to-be-replaced-by-yuki-tsunoda-at-red-bull-as-max-verstappens-team-mate-from-japanese-grand-prix RE: Formula 1 - Charlemagne - 28-03-2025 15:58 F1 rules say that teams have to run junior drivers in at least four practice sessions over the course of this season. So Ferrari will hand a Formula 1 debut to junior driver 21 year old Dino Beganovic at the upcoming Bahrain Grand Prix next month. He will fill in for Charles Leclerc who will be sitting out the first practice session of the race. RE: Formula 1 - lovebabes56 - 28-03-2025 16:15 I guess it will be a good experience for him even if he doesn't drive in a full race RE: Formula 1 - Snooks - 13-04-2025 17:42 A more interesting race today in Bahrain imo. A mix of strategies, a few cock ups, a safety car and some improvements in race pace for a few teams. Quite enjoyed that race. Likewise RE: Formula 1 - Tumble_Drier - 19-04-2025 21:47 Lance Stroll has broken a Formula 1 record. He has been eliminated from Q1 more than any other driver since the 3 session qualifying format was introduced. ![]() |
