RE: Currently playing/enjoying/hating - Rammyrascal - 04-07-2017 08:36 The mobile game Futurama: Worlds Of Tomorrow. It's very good & has all the futurama voice cast in it RE: Currently playing/enjoying/hating - *Kal-El* - 04-07-2017 17:23 Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite PS4 Demo. RE: Currently playing/enjoying/hating - *Kal-El* - 04-07-2017 20:11 ^^^ looks like a good game only problem I had with it is Chun Li eyes look fucking odd. People have complained to Capcom over it and there looking in to it. I tried the demo a few weeks ago & I was quite impressed with it, the graphics looked good, the moves were fluid & it certainly seems a continuation from Marvel vs Capcom 3 play wise which is a good thing.Where it seems to differ from MVC3 is that the standard 3 v 3 has been replaced by 2 v 2.Certainly on my shopping list (I think it comes out in September)but Injustice 2 has set the bar high for all other fighters to compete with. RE: Currently playing/enjoying/hating - *Kal-El* - 06-07-2017 01:13 Mad Max PS4 The game starts off with a lot of potential but in the end is let's it's self down, it tries to do everything but ends up being a master of none. I like how you can upgrade your character and vehicles along with being able to customise both too, there's plenty to did with the main missions and side mission so you do. It's best to upgrade both your character and vehicles to have a easier time with the game. What lets the game down is the controls when it's either driving or Melee attacks when Melee attacks work it's great when it doesn't pain in the ass. The game has poor loading time which annoys me especially with Next Gen consoles. You can't tap a button and pick up weapons instead you have to hold the button down to pick them up in combat this can be a pain in the ass and constantly being attacked by vehicles. There's one side mission that can only be done at night but unlike most games you fast forward time but in this game you can't. I'm a big fan of both 1st & 3rd shooters & have been since the early days of Doom & Quake. So when the question comes about what my favourite weapons in any shooter it would be the Cerebal Bore which was in the game Turok (a flying metal ball that has 2 spikes that embeds in the skull then a large drillbit bores a hole through the skull like the one in Phantasm horror films) & the sniper-rifle with silencer. A sniper-rifle is always my 1st weapon of choice in any shooter whether it be in COD or Battlefield but the only negatives about them are that they are only of use as a ranged weapon & not close-up combat, they are slow as fuck to reload & they are noisy so that any enemy nearby can hear them but when you add a silencer onto a sniper- rifle you can shoot at distance & no-one can hear you. As the title suggests this is primarily war game that mainly emphasizes on using the sniper-rifle but being a 3rd person shooter you can also opt to 'run & gun' but doing that takes most of the fun out of the game & of note whilst the game doesn't feature the Cerebal Bore it does feature the sniper-rifle with silencer. So far I played through about 5-6 hours of the game & spent a good half hour getting used to the aiming system on the shooting range & to be honest it does take some getting used to.When first looking down the scope at a target sends the aiming cross- hair all over the shop & is about as wobbly as a plate of jelly on a roller-coaster ride. Steadying the aiming is all about controlled breathing & a slow & steady pulse rate which then leaves a few seconds as window of opportunity to eliminate your target before the targeting goes into wobbly mode again. And when you hit the target in key areas it triggers an x-ray scene to show the damage it causes (I'd like other games to copy this idea) & is quite satisfying to watch in a sick sort of way. Graphically I found the game pretty bog-standard (apart from the x-ray scenes) & glitchy at times & certainly doesn't hold a candle to the likes of Battlefield,Doom or COD,gameplay wise using the sniper-rifle is what holds this game together particularly seeing the x-ray scenes but opting to play game as a 'run & gun' option the game can become a bit dull. Also the targeting system is quite hard & takes time getting used to which may put a few people off.Overall 7/10.
