RE: UFC - mitchell - 07-02-2012 20:58 The following is the reported payout to the fighters as reported to the The Nevada State Athletic Commission. It does not include sponsor money and also does not include the UFC's traditional "fight night" bonuses. Carlos Condit: $110,000 (includes $55,000 win bonus) def. Nick Diaz: $200,000 Fabricio Werdum: $100,000 (no win bonus) def. Roy Nelson: $20,000 Josh Koscheck: $146,000 (includes $73,000 win bonus) def. Mike Pierce: $20,000 Renan Barão: $22,000 (includes $11,000 win bonus) def. Scott Jorgensen: $20,500 Ed Herman: $62,000 (includes $31,000 win bonus) def. Clifford Starks: $8,000 Dustin Poirier: $24,000 (includes $12,000 win bonus) def. Max Holloway: $6,000 Edwin Figueroa: $16,000 (includes $8,000 win bonus) def. Alex Caceres: $8,000 Matt Brown: $30,000 (includes $15,000 win bonus) def. Chris Cope: $8,000 Matt Riddle: $30,000 (includes $15,000 win bonus) def. Henry Martinez: $6,000 Rafael Natal: $20,000 (includes $10,000 win bonus) def. Michael Kuiper: $6,000 Stephen Thompson: $12,000 (includes $6,000 win bonus) def. Dan Stittgen: $6,000 Roy Nelson $20,000 I know he's an TUF winner but he's had 5 UFC fights now so surely his contract should be up for renewal. RE: UFC - 199lives - 07-02-2012 21:19 I thought the ufcs minimum contract was $8k/$8k (show/win) some of those guys only got $6k? So whats eveyones thoughts on the weekends main event. I thought it was a close fight but gave Diaz rounds 1,2 and 5. some people have even accused Condit of 'running' Honestly i am not sure weather it was a good gameplan or just going for a decision. As a fight was a little disappointed it didn't really excite. Dana white has said if both fighters want it there is time for a rematch before GSP is ready to return but don't know if it will happen. A lot of risk for Condit he might lose his shot. RE: UFC - groundnpound - 07-02-2012 23:56 Well done on the perfect predictions TDK Top class! A lot of risk for Condit he might lose his shot. Diaz looks his best when he's backed his opponents up against the cage and he's bullying them, firing constant punches like he did against BJ Penn. Condit didn't let him do that. He's probs the only fighter in Diaz's last 10 fights that's gone into the cage with a plan on how to beat him and not just engage in a Diaz tear up. He stayed light on his feet and out of danger. It didn't make for the best fight but it done the trick for Condit. I thought Diaz won rounds 1 and 2 and Condit took the rest. Not fussed about a rematch between the pair. Not after that fight. GSP should be back Novemberish... Still no threat to his belt in the division. That's surely a misprint! ( He might finally have to cut back on his food bill! ) RE: UFC - mitchell - 09-02-2012 19:09 Roy Nelson's pay from 4 of his 5 UFC fights. UFC 137, Roy Nelson: $40,000 ($20,000 win bonus) def. Mirko Filipović: $75,000 UFC 130, Frank Mir: $250,000 ($125,000 win bonus) def. Roy Nelson: $15,000 UFC 117, Junior dos Santos $80,000 ($40,000 win bonus) def. Roy Nelson $15,000 The Ultimate Fighter: Heavyweights Finale, Roy Nelson: $16,000 ($8,000 win bonus) def. Brendan Schaub: $8,000 RE: UFC - groundnpound - 09-02-2012 21:25 Some of the shots he took from Werdum aswell at the weekend... Especially those knees in the face, for $20,000 RE: UFC - groundnpound - 09-02-2012 22:11 Rumour doing the rounds that Nick Diaz failed his UFC143 drug test for marijuana. Should hear something concrete on friday...I'm pretty sure he failed a test a few years back? Can't believe he'd pull that shit before a UFC interim title fight though! He has a perscription for medical use in california but that dosen't give any fight exemptions. The re-match was going to be signed this weekend as well according to Condit. His own worst enemy good excuse for losing though, being high |
