Given the stop-start way their year has been, a semi-final is a pretty good result, and Emma never lost, which may hopefully bode well for her in 2025.

At the age of 38 Gael Monfils has become the oldest winner of an ATP Tour title after winning the ASB Classic in Auckland beating Zizou Bergs 6-3 6-4 in the final.

Emma Raducanu had a wildcard entry to the Abu Dhabi Open but lost to former Wimbledon champ Marketa Vondrousova. But she's got another wildcard, for the Qatar Open.

She got beat again, apparently the first time she's ever lost 4 in a row. But her opponent won a tournament last week, so it's not like she's being turned over by deadbeats.
