Not nominated for thread of the year this time, perhaps because I wasn't around to keep it moving but thanks to all of you that contributed whilst I was away and kept it fresh. Welshmen are prohibited from entering Chester before the sun rises – and have to leave again before the sun goes down, according to an old bylaw.
