Whether or not Pennant has or has not a large asset base is not our concern. Turning to the fees he earned, so have a lot of other footballers. Whether you like him or not, one thing in his favour is he has always been a hard-working footballer with a lot of skill. At Liverpool he was one of their best players.
Turning to the Sun article I think it could be argued it was malicious, the newspaper has a terrible record with Liverpool as evidenced by their reports on Hillsborough.
His action was hardly pornstar behaviour just stroking for a few seconds his wife’s genitals, French Chloe gave a producer a blow job back in the day and it hardly gets a mention.
Turning to the article, it looks to me like a return of the old days of the News of the World. I think people will remember them with the salacious delight they took as reported on the picadilloes of the population, Max Mosley sued them and good on him, this story was not in the public interest just cheap journalism at its worst.

yep, i think some 1 at the sun has it in for either alice or her man... why?
kara dela hoyed did some very explicit cams yet none of them were discussed while she was on love island or any time after.
yet we all know how sleezy the papers can be when they get a hint of something sexual, yet there hasnt been any negative press about her or what she did on cams.
its been over a year and all ive seen of her in the paper is a few red carpet events and her pregnancy.
but as soon as they find a little sleeze on alice she gets a 2 page article.

the story is not really about alice on the whole, it's more about her husband. If she hadn't been married to a footballer, this wouldn't have got anywhere near the papers

again to be fair whilst she denies it, they do say further down the article that she was less than honest about how explicit the content was. I agree with you that this article is less titillating than Alice's. That isn't a reflection on Alice, it's to do with her husband. Although if Alice had gone on reality tv like Kara did i suspect that they would have run a similar story. Perhaps Kara has really good PR people who worked their magic to cut down on what was in the press
However, being married or dating a footballer will always make a model of interest to the press. Particularly given that her husband has a colourful past eg several drink driving offences, leaving his car in Spain, being sold for 2 million as a 15 year old to Arsenal etc
