When the daily figures are announced, they alway have a footnote 'All but 5 (for example) had underlying health issues'.

What do they class as underlying health issues... asthma probably, but do they include things like overweight, heavy drinker or a smoker?

Even the local Tory MP's have been asking what has to be achieved to have a tiering reduced.

Tier 2 is an absolute nightmare for the hospitality industry. One restaurant in London “The Wolseley” had 2500 cancellations on Friday/Saturday for bookings through the next few weeks. That was 9000 diners and in Tier 2 there is no financial help for them at all.

Johnson has lost sight of the people in this crisis - both the ill and the employed. No wonder all these people are ignoring the regulations.
