I just did a google search on Square 1 Management, following someone's post today about Partyland.
One of the first links found was this old report
http://www.broadcastnow.co.uk/news/multi-platform/news/hosts-sexual-antics-cost-channel17500/1709854.article
It seems ofcom were picking on SmileTV then instead of Bangbabes

This was the actual complaint for which they were fined

1.3. Ofcom received a complaint on 23 May 2007 about the explicit sexual nature
of the content broadcast on Smile TV on 22 May 2007 at around 22.25. The
complainant referred to shots in which a female presenter appeared to insert
her fingers into her anus several times and masturbate for a number of
minutes.
1.4. In the material complained of the presenter wore only a thong and appeared
to carry out the actions described by the complainant. There were also
prolonged shots of her lying on her back, with her legs wide apart in front of
the camera, apparently masturbating through the thong. She also
encouraged viewers to call her by saying, for example: “Well, I tell you what,
you’re not lasting a second tonight guys. Maybe it’s all my oil on my shaved
minge…If you’d like to hear some explicit chat tonight, while you’re having a
good old tommy tank…” [rhyming slang for ‘wank’ – i.e. masturbation].

It was on Sky.
There was no babe stuff transmitted on Freeview before midnight until PartyPeople/PartyGirls started at 9pm in September 2008

If i remember correctly the Sky babe channel channel named "smile tv" was not around for long it was re-branded as "blue kiss" , all the Cellcast girls used to work on the "smile tv/bluekiss show including one girl in particular that used to wear a tiny G string and cover herself in oil and she used to put on extremely explicit shows , the girl in question was Jet Black . Square 1 management is part of the Cellcast group . I think but not sure the Cellcast shows at this time had the British 18 cert licence because they used to show a big 18 sign at the start of their shows , later on the Cellcast shows dropped the big 18 sign and started showing the big Dutch 16 cert sign that they use today , did Cellcast purchase the Dutch licence to get Ofcom off their backs ? if so then Bangmedia should do the same .

How many threads are there about Ofcom's actions? Let it go - this has been ongoing since the organisation was formed and until one or all of the channels challenge Ofcom in law on the accuracy and legality of the code then all other commentary is wasted.

Yes I agree no number of posts will ever change the views at ofcom as I doubt they even go on this forum. But its a good way for people to vent their frustration at an organisation not in touch with 21st century Britain. But I've said before in previous posts all it needs is a change at the top in ofcom and if it just so happens to be a liberal pot smoking open minded person then perhaps the babe channels will maybe have the current restrictions squashed. If that were the case we would then be able to pick on the management of these channels if it failed to deliver as ofcom has been all too a convient excuse for airing shit shows throughout the years and could almost be used as a scapegoat on many occasions but without ofcom the channels would have no excuse up their sleeves and only then would they have to stand up and deliver. If ofcom remain a viable excuse then the babe channels will continue to air inconsistent shows.

[split] Bang Babes: Further breaches & possible new sanctions - Scottishbloke - 28-08-2010 21:03

It still makes you wonder who actually won the war. In Germany they can show what the fuck they want after a certain time, this country should do likewise. Stop the censorship and get back to the real politics and let tv do exactly what its suposed to do to fucking entertain us. Ofcom go and take a fuckin jump of the nearest cliff.

RE: Bang Babes: Further breaches & possible new sanctions - Scotsman - 28-08-2010 22:21

I think since Ofcom are pouring all their staff into the project to destroy the channels by watching them 24/7 and apparently also having someone man the computers everyday looking for slip vids on this forum, we should really start screening new members.

Maybe have them write a 200 word essay on why they should be allowed on the forum? Maybe include a multiple choice section and test them on their knowledge of the babeshows. If it's good, we know they're a fan. If it's perfect and strangely accurate, we'll know it's Ofcom.

Old fashioned nudity never harmed anybody whats wrong with simply entertaining an adult audience who have quite clearly tuned into these channels for a very good reason. We live in a free world these days where all tastes should be tolerated and respected. I don't watch the god channel because religion just isn't my thing but I have no objection that these channels exist. Its a democracy afterall so lets put the great back into britain and stop fucking around with free society instead embrace all the different tastes on the sky epg with an open mind. Watch religion, sport, sex whatever your preference is should be irelevent and anybody whos offended well fuck you change the channel as I've stated everybodys taste is catered for on sky. Stop the fucking up the channels and everyone is happy.
