I'm worried about my brother, he's staying in London for a few days. I called him earlier and he assures me he's ok and its not really happening much where he's staying, but even so its a worrying time for all concerned who have friends and relatives in the affected areas. Sad

Thank you for your concern Barrie. I think the nearest rioting and looting last night was over a mile away from me, so I was not in any real danger but it was highly disturbing. There were fires which was the scariest thing.

I live less than half a mile from Stokes Croft/City Road which has traditionally been a Bristol hotspot when it comes to disturbances.

This evening, the local KFC has done a roaring trade with police riot vans stopping off to pick up their supper, but with the Bristol C v Swindon match being called off and the Cabot Circus shopping centre being closed off it has been a fairly peaceful night.

they should have made it martial law last night. carry any "weapon" and the police get involved it should all bets are off and expect to be 6ft under.

leciestershire police have arrested 3people and are montoring through helicopter support and cctv groups of idiots. luckly there no reports no rioting in loughborough where i live. the only riot/protest in loughborough was the stundent protest earlier in the year and that was pathetic.

In view of what's happening tonight I think "London riots" isn't an accurate title for this thread. annoyed

Kunts kuntting around like kunts

just have the feeling that all areas will be flooded with police tomorrow and the roiting will stop when they see they are outnumber by the police. the police should unlease the attack dogs on the yobs.

I also live in Leicester bigguy, can see the police circling the city centre from my bedroom window.

Just attacked poundland and parts of highcross says police reports. So could well kick off in the next couple of hours in the East Midlands but I bloody well hope not.

As Blackadder might say: " the kuntested kunt that ever kunted, Baldrick!"
