A very impressive 32-7 win for the 49ers last night, especially as Chicago's defence has been top notch lately. A great debut start for Colin Kapernick

had a feeling we'd (bears) lose last night, but not by as much as we did last night. far from a disaster though as we're still top of the nfc north and got a very winnable schedule now

Got to say since i started supporting the Texans i have got into watching the NFL more than when i was just watching as a Neutral.

We had another cracker of a game Yesterday that could have gone either way in overtime as a newbie can someone explain to me how our controversial Touchdown counted as going from the commentary last night all touchdowns are reviewed but cause the Lions head-coach threw the yellow flag on which ment they couldn't review it so it counted.

So how did him throwing the yellow flag on mean that they couldn't review the touchdown Huh

RE: NFL 2012/2013 - Rammyrascal - 24-11-2012 00:45

its a red challenge flag actually wazo. yellow flags are what the officials throw to indicate a penalty.

think i can explain. all touchdowns are automatically reviewed and cannot be challenged by the head coach by throwing his red flag. so when detroit's head coach threw the flag illegally it stopped the touchdown from being reviewed. this is to stop teams illegally using the red flag. if detroit's head coach hadnt thrown the flag. houston's touchdown would have been reviewed and then been overturned as the houston player was down by contact.

the officials on the field made a clanger two, failing to spot the texans player down

very shocking and tragic events today in the nfl. jovan belcher who played for kansas city chiefs, killed his girlfriend and then drove to the kansas city practice facility where he killed himself in front of his head coach

If you lose to Green Bay this weekend you'll be struggling to even get a Wild Card spoteek No such thing as a winnable schedule. Defeats to Seattle and Minnesota have dropped the Bears right down.
Seattle are the team of the moment. And we(49ers) have to go there still.

agree no such thing as a winnable schedule. so far its going like last season for the bears. a strong start then injuries hit and the bears go into freefall. however unlike last season i still think the bears will make the playoffs....just. think we'll lose to green bay this evening but will then win our final two games against arizona who recently got thrashed 58-0 by seattle and detroit who have only won 4 games so far this season.

so the bears will finish 10-6 i think and get one of the 2 nfc wildcard places

The trouble with Houston is that they play brilliantly most weeks, but twice this year they've taken an unexpected kicking, and I fear that they could do the same and come a cropper against one of the lower seeds in the play-offs.
