RE: Supergirl - *Kal-El* - 08-12-2015 02:22 There's a massive reveal which am not gonna spoil but it a massive smile to my face especially coming from the DC universe . RE: Supergirl - HannahsPet - 08-12-2015 08:42 Yeah know u would be freaking out at that reveal lol yeah great episode next weeks looks great as well RE: Supergirl - *Kal-El* - 08-12-2015 09:12 I had feeling what the reveal would be but to actually see it without giving anything away till it airs later in the week on Sky was a great moment. There big clues if look back at certain Eps you can work it out, as for why Supergirl lost her peers my theroy was 100 percent right. Looking forward to the mid season finale, the only thing I would change is love triangle it's getting a bit tedious and having to be constantly told is because she's woman it doesn't need to have to keep telling us this just let her be respected for being hero that just happens to woman. RE: Supergirl - bigguy01 - 08-12-2015 09:16 bloody knew it after ep2 when his eyes turned red at the end. a bit of double bluffing from the writes but it paid off. RE: Supergirl - *Kal-El* - 08-12-2015 09:19 Well not everyone unless your not familiar with comics RE: Supergirl - HannahsPet - 08-12-2015 09:36 Im not a comic book nerd so didnt know RE: Supergirl - *Kal-El* - 08-12-2015 09:38 The shows work on two levels if your someone that knows nothing about the comics you can sit and get into the show and simply enjoy it. It Also services the fans of that particular comic character for example in The Flash were you find out Oliver Queeh died on in the island in Earth 2 and his father surivived and became The Hood instead of Oliver surviving and becoming The Arrow to normal fan of show it's different and a shock how events are played differently in Earth now from comic fan point of view it's nod to comic book story "Flashpoint" where in that reality it's Bruce Wayne that died and his father Thomas Wayne he becomes Batman or they making reference to 52 realities a little nod to DC 52. Even a friend of mine had no idea who Reverse Flash/Thawne, Cisco, Jay Garrick or even Henk Henshaw and Winslow were from the comics so not everyone does. RE: Supergirl - bigguy01 - 08-12-2015 10:14 I have not read any of the dc or marvel comics but smallville gave me some idea of the dc universe and read up on the character hank henshaw but my first instinct was right. I do read up on characters from the shows but I do like sometimes how the writers do double bluffs. RE: Supergirl - *Kal-El* - 08-12-2015 10:29 As I said it doesn't mean everyone else will know something RE: Supergirl - terence - 08-12-2015 12:54 Spoiler: Show |
