RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - dominar rygel xvi - 13-03-2015 09:01 Bangladesh ran New Zealand very close today, with New Zealand eventually getting home by 3 wickets with only 7 balls to spare. They finish the group stage unbeaten, and will be proud of that, but credit to Bangladesh who showed they are much better than most people in this country have been giving them credit for and that their victory over England wasn't just a case of England's own poor performance. RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - William H Bonney - 13-03-2015 10:02 Afghanistan's innings was curtailed by rain, meaning that the Duckworth Lewis Stern method has been applied, and England's target has been set at 101 from 25 overs. RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - straw man - 13-03-2015 19:25 England won their last match by 9 wickets as the group stage grinds to a conclusion. This is a very drawn out tournament, RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - cosmonaut - 14-03-2015 09:15 (13-03-2015 09:01 )dominar rygel xvi Wrote: Bangladesh ran New Zealand very close today And now Zimbabwe have given India a scare. They looked to be in the ascendancy more than once, but at the end of both innings they crumbled a bit and India chased down their target with 8 balls to spare. The players from other nations don't need the message to get through because they invented the modern one day game themselves with all the one day cricket they play, especially the amount of T20 they play. England need to consider how to give their own players the same kind of experience that players from other countries are getting in the IPL and the Big Bash. That's where players are honing their one day skills. RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - HannahsPet - 15-03-2015 18:28 yeah its easy to take the 20/20 game into the one day game than going from test match to one day basically like a sprinter going from 100,200 to 400 metres than a 10,000 metre runner going from that to 800, 1500 meters i mean KP was top scorer in the big bash RE: ICC Cricket World Cup 2015 - William H Bonney - 15-03-2015 19:02 Yes very true, HannahsPet. Future England one day players need to "grow up" in the T20 game.
