Kota Ibushi v. Cedric Alexander.
Phenomenal start to the round of 16 had to rewatch this, probably the best we have seen to this point, hopefully cedric will be signed after this tournament ends.

It was a shame to see him bow out the tournament as you say his style is so unique but as like most hopefully this wont be the last time we see them perform under the wwe banner, all involved in the tournament have delivered far more than I expected.

Rey mysterio/ Eddie feud back in 2005 (custody of Dominic thing)
No review of their summerslam match, just wana give my thoughts on story as I saw some clips of their exchanges on YouTube. I really appreciated and respected the efforts of both to make this story work, it was good stuff especially from rey, but no one was gonna buy that Dominic was eddie's boy all of a sudden. Should have just stuck with Eddie being jealous of rey, no need to involve family in my opinion.

Almost a year since this match put the womens wrestling scene back on the map and kick started the revolution we are seeing present day, have watched on multiple occasions and probably wont be the last, once bayley is called up would love to see this rivalry renewed.

Barbed Wire Spike Nail Board Death Match(IWA Japan,20/08/95)
Cactus Jack vs Shoji Nakamaki
Some very brutal moments in this relatively short but hard fought match.This type of wrestling isn't to everyone's taste,when you say "Death Match" it can put people off or some people will be disappointed that it never gets to the death part.However, despite the blood this match is more than mindless violence and the chemistry between Cactus and Nakamaki allows them to pull of some pretty innovative spots.

Naito vs. Kenny Omega NJPW G1 Tournament Day 18.
I think this has to be one of my favorites matches this calendar year so far, from bell to bell these guys put on one hell of a showing, another recommendation from the G1 which could be arguably the best one the promotion has had in recent years by their high standards.

A hard fought contests with some real hard hitting strong style from both competitors as you would expect, worth the wait to see and your new champion in shinsuke to lead the brand into another era.
