Scotland has two or three good players, one is Kim Little.

I was pretty sure that FIFA only sanctioned/registered a TEAM GB soccer team only for the London Olympics, and I don't know if an official request would be allowed for Tokyo 2020. I can't remember what the exact ruling at the time was, as we didn't enter teams for Rio as I think FIFA treated it as a one - off request. There is no age restriction for the women's team, but for the men's team it would be under 23 and England failed to get out of the group stages, but even if they reached the semis, Britain would not have been eligible for Tokyo.

USA may have won again, but on the evidence of this world cup Europe is closing the gap.

Their pool if players must be endless, considering that soccer is a popular sport for women in the US.

I think England should maintain their top 5 women's ranking when the next rankings are due, I'd be very surprised if we are out of the top 5.

I'm optimistic for the future. A lot depends on whether Phil will still be around for the next World Cup or not, and how much more support the fa gives the women's game say in the next two three years and what young talent is coming through in that timespan. That is the important bit for me.

^ It's always risky having a Scottish goalkeeper Wink
Are we allowed to use the Chinese girl. She was brilliant.
