So Germany (again) next for us? Def do think Gareth has to drop Kane he's way out of form and sharpness for me. We need players up front wh oa re way quicker than him and that means Calvert Lewin form in Kane's position for me from the start next game. I believe he has the pace to frighten teams thank Kane does.we need wingbacks making pacy runs downt that touchline. Grealish for me has shot his bolt andneeds to be back on the bench next and Rashford needs to start. If anything I felt Lingard should have been in the team instead of him. He had a grest season since loan move to west Ham and was scoring regularly and now feel Gareth should have picked him. Will Gareth resign if we go out at the quarters? I doubt it.

We where better in the first half I got the feeling the manager told them to calm it down at half time stop switching positions lol,
Having Jake and Sako both trying to beat their man , pass forward and put good crosses in made a big difference, Kane looked better with Jake feeding him good balls,

With 2 goals in the tournament, England are the lowest scoring side to finish top of a Euros group ever. England's defence is good though, with just 1 goal conceded in the last 9 matches.

Am I correct in thinking that Spain have missed their last 5 penalties.
This team isn't the Spain of old.

I think that we could call that goal an own goal. Tongue
Newcastle goalkeeper Martin Dubravka just scored the worse own goal in Euros history

No killer instinct up front. Maybe they could try Ferran Torres through the middle, Pep mooted that possibility for City, might be a better option than Morata, don't think Spain can seriously challenge with Morata playing as their centre forward.

Pedri looks top class though.

And yet it pales into insignifigance compared to the own goal he scored when he signed for Newcastle laugh

I always thought the Spain of old was really just the Barcelona of old — as the latter declined, so did the former. This Spain looks like a very beatable side.*
