Because the report originated in The Sun so is more than likely a load of bollocks.

Apparently its the Celtic owner saying it but apparently he has been saying it for the past 20 years Tongue Tongue

The Premier League have given the executives of the 6 clubs the option of resigning from the comitttees they sit on or being voted off. The 6 clubs had also been agitating for a bigger share of Premier League TV money but looks like that will also not go ahead

The power grab they were trying to achieve looks like it will result in them having less power in the forseeable future

is that a good result or not? How would fans react to that?

I'm pleased that some punishments could still go ahead.

When the other 14 clubs voted unanimously against the super league, they also stated they wanted the 6 to remain, but that certain executives connected with those clubs were told they would not be welcome.

I hope they remain resolute in that opinion. I mean surely they can't be taken seriously in all future meetings given the level of distrust that may still take a long time to heal.

Doesnt mean that the 6 clubs still wont have power just means that the faces representing the clubs will change

not sure about the voting structure of the PL but im sure if the 6 dont like something they can still stop stuff from happening

anyway most of the 14 can be bought easily Tongue Tongue

Just thought maybe they should all be sent to the championship for a couple of seasons as a fan of a championship side would mean it would become the best league in the world and make rovers a shit load of cash !!!! Tongue Tongue Tongue Tongue

Well how about chucking them down to the championship or National League for 5 years with no promotion but if they win either thdey have to give it to the team within 20 miles of them?

Real Madrid face being thrown out of next season's Champions League over their ongoing refusal to walk away from the European Super League.

RE: European Super League - Cooper_temple - 22-04-2021 18:24

The Premier League is set to change its rules to ensure that no member club will ever be able to join a breakaway European league again without facing instant expulsion.

It is when you pay Messi a million quid a week and spend over 140 million on Coutinho.
