Irish medal hopes I think are best within boxing.
Mick Conlan has won his opening bout and is a live gold medal contender. Katie Taylor is in the same boat and is yet to start her campaign for Gold.
Elsewhere.......... one to watch in particular could be Natalya Coyle in the modern pentathlon. That starts later in the week.
She could well medal but margins are tight.
