Nice 6-1 6-3 win for Emma Raducanu over Daria Kasatkina in Strasbourg as French Open preparations continue.

She lost in a decider after a good start, but seemed to have back trouble in the 2nd set.

She had a medical time out at the end of the first for her back as well, which must be a bit of a worry with Wimbledon coming up and the Billie Jean Cup Finals in September.

I'd expect she'll give Berlin a miss and concentrate on her prep for Wimbledon and has to hope for a good run at Eastbourne.

On a side note, I had heard that they couldn't find the original trophy and they have had a new one made that will have all the previous winners engraved on it. Was this one tournament that a certain Miss Sue Barker won after winning the French?
