New series is going to be shown on Sundays!!!!

Don't understand the delay unless they are going straight into Christmas episode from the series, or more worryingly re-writes and re-shoots were needed.

And I may have misinterpreted your glass ceiling comment as being aimed at Jodie, since it's hard to see how the Doctor would be standing on his/her own shoulders Wink

a sexist rant from someone who prolifically posts on a forum that could not be any more demeaning to women in the whole of the uk-what an idiot

Live with it Rolleyes

One burning question intrigues me.. does she have three hearts and three..you know ehat?

So why have you joined the forum then BounceBounce Plus The Silent Majority is not sexist & the forum is not demeaning to women at all. We are FANS OF THE BABES!!! how is that demeaning them, especially as most of the comments are praise & support them

^Given the fact that the person just joined and only has these two posts I am willing to bet that it is someone who is an established member and created a second account so they could unload on other established members without it affecting their credibility. I mean who joins a forum about woman on the Babe Channels to post in the Doctor Who section, much as we love Doctor Who

So what are you saying, it's ok to join this awful forum so long as you don't post much?

Self-righteous hypocrites are the worst kind of prick, in my experience.

RE: Dr Who - Rake - 10-09-2018 17:20

I’m disappointed the new Doctor Who isn’t gender dysphoric and gender fluid . The doctor could be a male when it suits the situation and confounds a certain sort of monster and then a female if the next monster has some sort of catastrophic reaction to females, and a rapid cycling gender fluid state which the dr can invoke to confuse all the remaining aliens and monsters.

In fact I think that sticking to ancient, outmoded and discredited binary gender stereotypes is offensive and oppressive.

RE: Dr Who - ShandyHand - 10-09-2018 17:32

^ That's a great idea. Unfortunately they are not going to pay two actors or employ much time/budget consuming trickery. The beeb can't afford to be that 'right on' Tongue - besides it wouldn't be so satisfying for the twitterati or the cosplayers. This is a publicity, ratings and merch game (pbs rules my arse) more than it is anything else.

I have spotted an anomaly in the trailer.

There is a reflection of a face in one of the glass shards :

It looks like Jodie, but as we see she is standing away behind all this :

So is it a clue, who is it, or is it just a mess up in the graphics department?

wooo-ooo-oooo! Big Grin

The BBC are having a red carpet event for the premiere of the new series.
It is being held at Sheffield on Monday 24th September at The Moor.

Cast attending will include Jodie Whittaker, Bradley Walsh, Mandipp Gill, Tosin Cole and Chris Chibnall.

Tickets are just for the red carpet and don't include the premiere.

It's my understanding that the tickets are free, but it will be massively oversubscribed. Half the tickets are going to local people.
If you want two tickets you have to apply via : bbc.co.uk/showsandtours
