Err, no it doesn't. It happens very occasionally, but hardly 'all to often'. About normal for a high traffic forum I'd say.
'...very occasionally...'?
From one extreme to the other!

Yes 36.8% is correct for the year being referenced - and this is confirmed by Sky's own financial reports. Their most recent report (2015) edges their market reach upwards and it would now be about 37.7%. In absolute figures it's 10.93m Sky television customers - but that includes Ireland.

at the end of the day who cares what the exact % is, all that really matters is that the number of people calling goes up when a channel is on FV,
66 know this from when they where Elite, the problem last time round was that they way over paid for they license so even with the extra call it did not make that much difference, this time round i would think they would not have made the same mistake,

Yes but that point wasn't made clear by ShandyHand's original figures, as they made it look as though the difference was a fairly minor one. The point was actually obscured.
From admiral decker's correct figures we can see that the increase in the number of people calling when a channel is on Freeview should be and is likely to be quite dramatic.

The picture quality was definitely better than 2 of the Babestation channels at least - in fact it was much better.

The answer to your question is that not many people need to know the EXACT percentage, but not many people want to be misled by inaccurate information either.
So it’s a big thank you to admiral decker for posting the ACTUAL INFORMATION as it’s important to most people to see anything clearly misleading being corrected.
