What I don't understand is, why are you watching all these programmes that are full of penises if you're so offended by them?
Aren't you doing exactly the same thing, in reverse, as the people who complain needlessly about the babechannels?

If you don't want to be offended then don't watch, simples!

If we use that argument in defence of the babechannels it's hypocritical to then go and do the same thing about other programming.

Some of the programmes i have come across by accident and should never have included penises..I am not offended by penis its the sex discrmination side of things ive been arguing for 26 years..If they showed female genatalia the way they show male all is equal and fair and no argument is there,BUT,they continue with this sexist act every week and its getting worse..

As reguards to babe channels they pay folk to watch every single minute and the second a fanny flap is shown in go the complaints..If female genatalia was allowed on UK TV then it would NOT be classed as a complaint. So my complaining against this hyper sexist act to stop been sexist and allow female genitals on tv would solve the babe channels problem too..

So its sexist and every straight male and Lesbian should fight this.Sexist fucking cunts its sick.

Also I'd be willing place bets on if we ever have a channel for women featuring males then they'd probably be allowed to show their penis's such is the hypocrisy of ofcoms rules.

Anyway back to the main issues yes it's been very satisfying not to have any current investigations pending against any of the babe channels. The last one being against Get Lucky TV on the 24th April so 3 months and no complaints is encouraging but the channels are far from out of the woods yet.

We need to see how the rest of the year pans out to see if their has been a swing to the more liberal side at ofcom HQ. I had to laugh at this statement from ofcom when when they found Get Lucky TV in breach of rule 32.3.

"In Ofcom's view, the revealing clothing and sexual positions and other inappropriate images, including that of anal detail, were intended to be sexually provocative in nature. In light of this behaviour and imagery, Ofcom concluded that this material was clearly unsuitable for children"

Clearly not suitable for children, hm..........how many children do you know who watch the babe channels I wonder, what a stupid fucking statemant, I mean as if. So in ofcoms eyes the daily diet of a childs viewing consists of something like this, watch some cartoons followed by some post watershed babe channel show. No the only thing that children watch that is blue is the programme that ends with Peter.

Why this government continues to support and pay the wages of such fucking idiots is beyond me, that statement is embarrassing, we pay our taxes to these morans when a retarded monkey could probably do a better job.

By law we have the watershed, by law we have pin encryption software and also the abilty to block out such offending channels that our modern day technology is now capable of doing. Ofcom should be promoting all the above instead of wasting their time taking cheap shots at what us over 18's like to view after hours in the privacy of our own homes.

Ofcom continue to offend and insult this sociey, the demise of this shambles of a clearly unfit tv regulator can't come soon enough.

If you write/email ofcom with the above or email Graham Howell they will here you..Ranting on here gets us nowhere..If everyone kept up the high pressure complaints every week like me something will crack..If you emailed ofcom about paying their wages and kids watching anal detail it would help..It would help if all 54,000 folk on these forums complained every day and week and month..Arghh sodding sick that ofcom ban fanny lips and clits and allow male bits now ,right now in 2012 never mind this sexist act should have been banned in 1950,s..Women want equal rights, well they have not a fucking chance.

RE: Ofcom Discussion - Scottishbloke - 01-08-2012 21:21

What really annoys me is their is a certain poster who will remain nameless who writes stuff like great outfit and great outfit change with regards to his favourite channel and models. Well if you ask me I couldn't give a shit what outfit the models wear because I'd rather see it off.

If we can't get a show at the moment that's going to show us pussy then at the very least we should get to see tit's and ass. I've been off this forum for a couple of days due to my nightshift work commitments but going by the caps I've been looking through it doesn't look like I've missed much if anything at all.

The cruelest thing of all has to be eurotic tv coming to SKY knowing that we still can't see the good part of the nightshow, I have proposed that they at the very least offer us this channel in it's entirety as part of a subscription package which would lesson the blow with current ofcom restrictions for us who don't have Hotbird/Astra 1.

Finally I've been watching the women's beach volleyball which is broadcast during the day ofcourse which I've thoroughly enjoyed but it's a bit sad when you can see something more erotic on the BBC during the day than what you are allowed to see on the babe channels at the same time of the day. No they must remain covered up or risk a fine or heavy sanctions.

The only thing that was missing from the opening ceremony was the name of ofcom, sure they sent out a very strong message of freedom and democracy but so long as we have a government state controlled quango telling us what we can and cannot view then we have no right to be calling this a free country when the reality is very very different.

There must be a lot of visitors to the Olympics who are bemused by how backward our morality laws are.

In upmarket French towns to local casino will regularly have a topless/nude cabaret night, attended by middle aged couples. Try finding something similar over here outside a red light district and where a few drinks dont result in a walk to the cashpoint "assisted" by the bouncer because the "champagne" costs £100s per dodgy bottle. Not the upmarket sensual evening couples might be expecting.

At least when the high powered corporate guests get back to their 5 star hotel rooms after taking in a West End show and dining at a World class Michelin starred restaurant they can turn on the tele and unwind to the most natural human activity?

No, all they will find is a bewildering exercise in frustration.

RE: Ofcom Discussion - Tonywauk - 02-08-2012 09:36

Surely it's hardly surprising that there are currently no complaints against the Babe Channels being investigated when they have been effectively neutered (I use the term advisedly) and show nothing but the most anodyne pap imaginable.

I think Eccles' latest points are very well made and would still love to ask someone from the Offcom hierarchy why it is that the 'commonly acceptable standards' (particularly with regard to children) are so much less liberal in the UK than in almost any other country in the free world. Given that most youngsters can (and do) access the hardest of hardcore material completely unregulated on their phones and computers it seems crass to reduce so-called 'adult' material on television to the erotic level of Jackanory. As a adult with no children in my immediate family I resent this enormously,

I fear endless repetitions of the same old arguments here will have no effect other than to make the particular poster involved slightly less annoyed.

Should anyone have some serious suggestions as to what we could do to promote our point of view please make them known for if I have to read hundreds more posts simply repeating' Fuck off Offcon' as if in an endless loop the I shall lose the will to live. I would argue that those posts, however well-intentioned, actually do the cause far more harm than good, enabling those in authority to write us off as nothing more than a group of barely literate idiots.

RE: Ofcom Discussion - shankey! - 02-08-2012 10:01

if the channels cant even mediate with ofcom what chance do we have ?,apart from babestation i dont think any of the other channels have dared crossing that line , yet its not as if they are going to be penalised for questioning a rule or decision , i actually think that this may be the way forward,if a suggestion was put forward by a channel asking permission for a more tolerant approach to a show aired at lets say 1 am who knows what they would say, we will never know until its tried , i would love a 5 minute free for all every hour after 1 , within moderation of coarse,

Well for what it's worth, i've sent to e mails to Ofcom complaining about the current over censorship regarding our adult channels. However its fallen on deaf ears surprise surprisebladewave I received one reply with the standard beaurocratic bullshit from Ofcom regarding harm and offence to children, and the same old nonsense about it be classified under the shopping channels, yea whateverannoyed
I felt i needed to do something, i realise many other forum members have already complained to Ofcom regarding this matter, but i'd thought i'd give it ago. I agree with Scottishbloke, when he mentioned in one of his posts that all we're doing is going round and round in circles, how very trueImportant
Unless Ed Richards leaves Ofcom or Ofcom have a sudden change of heart in the near future, or is challenged by another regulator who wants to take them over, the future is looking very bleak indeedImportant
