Not surprised at all. Mir should replace Overeem and get the next UFC Heavyweight Championship shot against Junior dos Santos at UFC 146. Mir is on a three fight winning streak and broke Big Nog's arm in his last fight.

RE: UFC - 199lives - 05-04-2012 21:13

Alistair Overeem produced a testosterone-to-epitestosterone ratio of 14:1 in his failed urine test, Nevada state athletic commission executive director Keith Kizer told MMA Fighting on Thursday, shortly after he learned of the final result.

The average male produces a T/E ratio around 1:1. The World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) uses a 4:1 standard for positive tests, and NSAC uses 6:1 as its cutoff, a number used by WADA up until 2006.

In NSAC's original statement announcing the flagged result, Overeem was said to have tested at a level higher than 10:1.

chael sonnen ‏ @sonnench
I'm shocked.. Has the body fat of a tooth brush, looks like the guy on STREET FIGHTER. My mind is blown, just blown.

don't like sonnen, its ridiculously hypocritical but this is pretty funny

Can't stand all the bullshit like the Overeem testosterone thing. These lads know what they can and can't do and some of them still manage to f**k up big time. What's it all about! Think there's an option for him to give a second sample and still have the fight with Dos Santos...

He'll get ko'd in the 1st round, so will Mir if he steps in.

RE: UFC - TDK2008 - 07-04-2012 17:29

I have to think Overeem gets taken out of the fight with Junior dos Santos. I'll guess Junior dos Santos will defend the UFC Heavyweight Championship against either Dan Henderson, Fabricio Werdum or Mark Hunt. I thought when the news broke, Mir would get the shot but Dana White said Mir vs. Cain Velasquez is still happening.

Indian Super Fight League April 7th.

Paul Kelly v Ryan Healy

Todd Duffee v Neil Grove

SFL fight of the night. Chaitanya Gavali v Pierre Daguzan

Can't see Dos Santos fighting any of those lads TDK. The Dos Santos vs Mir , Cain vs Carwin idea sounds the best to me.
