Why pay for their shitty chips/fries, when it takes five minutes to cook your own? RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - Tumble_Drier - 16-11-2018 16:21 ^I used to work for a company who did maintenance for KFC & other fast food chains. If you saw the state of some of the non public areas you'd never eat their crap again RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - The Goatman - 16-11-2018 16:25 (16-11-2018 16:18 )kelly1066 Wrote: Why pay for their shitty chips/fries, when it takes five minutes to cook your own? 5 minutes to cook your own fries ? Tell me your technique kelly Because it takes my deep fryer like 10 minute to hot up Also its kfc who cooks their own chips for kfc RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - kelly1066 - 16-11-2018 17:36 okay, so i didn't include the actual heating up the fryer time... so sue me... still better than paying £1/£2 for a bag of soggy chips, when you can cook them nice and crispy for 50p at most. RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - The Goatman - 16-11-2018 17:45 50p ? Where do you buy your potatoes ? And oil for the deep fryer I mean when you buy a meal from kfc..... do people actually just buy chips from kfc ? RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - kelly1066 - 16-11-2018 18:14 You don't use a whole bag of spuds for one portion of chips, nor do you use up the life of your oil for one frying either? Divide the bag of spuds up, and the cost of the oil... throw in a few pence for the electric..... 50p is a reasonable cost per portion. I'm clearly debating this with someone who does far less cooking than myself? but then that's likely what your wife is for?? lol. RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - HannahsPet - 16-11-2018 19:03 I use a Air fryer and shop bought frozen chips morrisons do some awesome chunky chips takes about 20 mins https://groceries.morrisons.com/webshop/product/Morrisons-The-Best-Chunky-Chips/346176011 RE: The "Pissed Off " Thread - lovebabes56 - 16-11-2018 19:26 ^Air fryer? what does it run on? you got your own wind turbine in your back garden?
