The Texans have looked very hit and miss so far this season and i think this will be another miss. Winner: Bengals Lions @ Packers Detriot pushed Pittsburgh very close last week but just couldnt pull off the upset. The Packers have had two weeks to get the loss to the Vikings out of the system and will be looking to bounce back. Winner: Packers Browns @ Steelers Cleveland have been terrible this season and somehow managed to scrape a win last week despite their QB completing only 2 passes out of 17. Pittsburgh appeared to struggle against Detriot and will want to win this one comfortably to continue to push the Bengals and Ravens atop the AFC North. Winner: Steelers Giants @ Saints Wow what a difficult one to call. The 2 best teams in the NFC going head to head. The winner earns the right to call themselves the best in the NFC. The Giants are coming off an easy win over the Raiders in which they got to rest Elisha so he should be fit for this game. New Orleans have one of the most explosive offenses in the league and they have lit up the scoresheet this season. They will face by far their biggest test yet in this game up against a strong Giants defense. Winner: Giants Ravens @ Vikings The Ravens will want to put last weeks loss and the stupid penalties which caused it behind them and will have to be on top form to match a good Vikings team. The Ravens have the defense to stop All-Day from controlling the game and forcing Old Man Favre to beat them. The Vikes will no doubt try to get All-Day up and running and if they fail to do so i think they will struggle. Winner: Ravens Rams @ Jaguars Both teams coming off huge losses last week when they both looked terrible. The Rams have next to nothing on offense and even less on defense. The Jags are capable of causing teams problems and IMO just had an off week last week. Winner: Jags Panthers @ Bucs Panthers are coming off their first win of the season at home to the Redskins despite trailing big in that game. This should give them the confidence boost needed to beat the hapless Bucs. Winner: Panthers Chiefs @ Redskins The Chiefs are coming off a tough loss to the Cowgirls. They simply cannot allow another WR to have 250 yards again or they will struggle to win. I think their offense has improved dramatically in the best couple of games. As for the Redskins they have been awful on offense (if anybody knows what the hell Portis was doing running sideways in the endzone please let me know). For the Skins to have a chance in this one their defense needs to shut down the Chiefs offense. Winner: Chiefs ![]() Bills @ Jets Buffalo lost one of the worst games of football i've ever seen last week when they lost 6-3 to the Browns. They surely cannot be that bad again and i expect they will prove a stern challenge for a good Jets side. The Jets have looked pretty good but have lost back to back games now and will need to stop the slide. Winner: Jets Eagles @ Raiders Eagles looked much better when they had McNabb back last week and will be looking to win this one easily. Raiders fans must be in despair having to play teams from the NFC East in back to back games. Winner: Eagles Cardinals @ Seahawks The Cards almost found a way to throw away last weeks game against the Texans after leading 21-0 at one point. They will need to avoid a collapse like that against a Seahawks team coming off a huge win over the Jaguars. Tough divisional game this one expect it to be very close. Winner: Cardinals Titans @ Patriots Tennessee have started 0-5 and will be looking to get their first win of the season in this one. The loss of Cortland Finnegan will hurt those chances as their secondary has been getting massacred even with Finnegan so without him you have to think Brady and the Pats passing offense will be able to take advantage. Winner: Patriots Bears @ Falcons Bears have looked good in recent games and the bye week may have come at the wrong time as they looked to be hitting their stride. They go up against a Falcons team who romped all over the 49ers last week and will be looking to build on a strong start and challenge the Saints for the top of the AFC South. Winner: Falcons Broncos @ Chargers Will i never thought the Broncos could beat the Patriots but they proved me wrong and you have to believe they are for real now and that they can make a good run at the playoffs. They will be looking to tighten their grip at the top of the AFC West with victory in this one. The Chargers will be looking to close the gap and should be fresh coming off a bye week. Expect this to be another close divisional game. Winner: Chargers RE: NFL 2009/10 - setter1000 - 18-10-2009 21:49 happy days both divisional rivals, the skins and the g men have been turned over ![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - synerd - 18-10-2009 21:57 HAHAHA the giants got schooled.....good times. RE: NFL 2009/10 - Poolieguy01 - 18-10-2009 22:22 Saints were excellent, as for the Skins i'm close to giving up on the season and not watching any of our remaining games. We have played one good team so far in the Giants and have lost to rubbish teams if we had any ambition to make the playoffs we have to be beating the likes of Detriot, Carolina and Kansas City ![]() ![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - setter1000 - 18-10-2009 22:33 it's still not to late for the skins to turn it around. ![]() RE: NFL 2009/10 - Poolieguy01 - 18-10-2009 22:38 (18-10-2009 22:33 )setter1000 Wrote: it's still not to late for the skins to turn it around. 1 - Yes it is too late, 2-4 against the schedule we have had is simply shocking, things get a lot tougher after this. Of the 10 games we have left we have 5 divisional games, Broncos, Chargers, Saints, Falcons and Raiders. Well of that lot i can see us maybe sneaking past the Raiders. 3-13 here we come 2 - Terrible we cannot get anything going on offense. We had a 78 yard run from Portis today which took us to the Chiefs 10 and we still could not get the ball in the endzone. 3 - He bloody should of played his last game. Only downside is that its Todd Collins who is coming in for him. Stats he was 9/16 for 89 yards which isnt bad its the fact that on the 7 he missed he was missing open receivers then there is the ones that he held onto. We need a new Owner, GM, HC and QB |
