It's early in the season I know, but I had so many injuries it made sense to do it. I made 6 changes to the squad and hope to see an improvement in form! It's early in the season I know, but I had so many injuries it made sense to do it. I made 6 changes to the squad and hope to see an improvement in form! The starting XI shows 6 changes to last week as well, so here goes.... Considering the injuries to players like Valencia, Lampard, Walcott, Dunne - all crucial players in any team, it's as good a time as any to play your Wildcard. The Wildcard, in my opinion, is best used before January window as players are still adjusting, their average points are as well. So good transfers will make the most of bad (and cheaper) players that are over performing. Usually bad (or lesser) players over perform early on because they are fitter (no World Cup) After January a lot of players will start returning to their normal form getting regularly more/less points. But it does all come down to having a good bit of luck. I've already used mine and am in a similar position as you at 113. Made 2 illegal changes so I lost 8 points so am actually at 123/124/125 (2 other people with same points) RE: GSL League - progress reports - chrislatimer - 25-09-2010 12:24 i used mine before week 2 and its worked out well. not expecting a lot this week especially with city playing chelsea RE: GSL League - progress reports - bhaveshgorsia - 25-09-2010 12:37 what a crap first half hopefully the second half is better RE: GSL League - progress reports - chrislatimer - 25-09-2010 13:32 my boy tevez has scored i may be top for a bit RE: GSL League - progress reports - bhaveshgorsia - 25-09-2010 13:48 7pt for hart but chelsea were shit today had 3 chelsea players and hoped they did not score so hart get more points RE: GSL League - progress reports - William H Bonney - 26-09-2010 07:19 (25-09-2010 13:32 )chrislatimer Wrote: my boy tevez has scored i may be top for a bit Yes you're top of the league at the moment. You're also second in the September standings, kept off the top spot by AFC Scarecrow. Not much change for me yesterday, up a place to 22nd (and currently 86th for the month of September). RE: GSL League - progress reports - chrislatimer - 26-09-2010 12:42 and i seem to of got of lightly with the utd game as no berbatov goals and they have conceded i may get away with top 3 overall after the gameweek. RE: GSL League - progress reports - chrislatimer - 26-09-2010 18:46 top 3 for september where 1) daniel brown 2) david moyes (love the name whoever it is on here who picked it) 3) james lennon i lead overall by a point from simon birch whoever he is. |
