I think Amanda has decided she isn't in this on her own after all; I submitted my details per Amanda's request for the same, to be contacted regarding the problems with Shebang.tv. I was contacted by her 'business partner' who, rather than offer me an extension of my wasted subscription or anything meaningful, explained that, like most people who have contacted them of late, either I have an expired subscription (I don't) or I was perhaps trying to log in without considering that the login fields are case-sensitive. Like I don't access any sites on a day-to-day basis that feature such a facility, or I was stupid enough to not realise I had CAPS-LOCK on at the time. I'm not sure why I had a small expectation that Amanda might actually be gracious enough to make that explanatory call; however, I did also afterwards consider how silly and futile the gesture was (even though well-intentioned) given that any old muppet could send in their details and waste Amanda's time. When I contacted Amanda I also asked if she would care to comment on why my attempts to post to her blog are not permitted, I was simply told that this was nothing to do with them - so I presume her business partner in this instance only deals with Shebang.tv. At least Amanda has posted some new things on her blog. To be honest, I am sure for many the interaction with Amanda like this is a big incentive to continue subscribing to her various ventures - hopefully she's realised this much and has decided it is worth spending a few moments contributing to her own blog page now and then. Finally Amanda has even warned off a potential new Shebang.tv subscriber over the problems the site is having. I am hoping the Christmas spirit will rub off on her and her associates and offer those who did subscribe and have managed to see only one live show and the stock footage that is contained on the site some extension of subscription but I won't hold my breath waiting on that one to happen. As I noted previously - lessons learned (for me, at any rate). There are plenty of other models who offer reliable, regular updates and the like on their sites. I really do like Amanda Rendall (the model) but this is all too much for me. If shebang.tv can get their act together and maintain a regular return client base in the future then good luck to them but I won't be one of those clients. RE: shebang.tv Amanda Rendall - Timbo - 16-12-2010 21:14 I must admit even though I've yet to have problems with the site I am pissed at the lack of any new content being put on the site, mind you most of these sites do that just to get you to sign up for another month or two. To be honest, I don't think I'll even last that long. A group of trained chimps could probably do a better job. Earlier in the year, I did register with Yazmintv.com (i think it was called). You may remeber her, she used to work on the free to air Babeshows. She performed from her bedroom and at least when she said her webshows were going to be recorded and put on her website, she kept her promise. Also, her website was updated on a frequent basis. I find it quite unbelievable that someone who is doing the same thing on probably a lower budget is pissing all over shebang.tv. RE: shebang.tv Amanda Rendall - sharinel - 16-12-2010 22:44 Amanda has previous though, I joined her old website last December for a 2 month period and had a grand total of zero updates on it. Never again RE: shebang.tv Amanda Rendall - ARENDALL - 17-12-2010 10:09 (16-12-2010 21:14 )Timbo Wrote: I must admit even though I've yet to have problems with the site I am pissed at the lack of any new content being put on the site, mind you most of these sites do that just to get you to sign up for another month or two. Iam to. It's not that we don't have the content. It is all there ready to be uploaded There seems to be a problem uploading it as the files r to large so any experts there who may be able to help me with this feel free.... Sorry, this really is a very weak response. Any reasonable research would have highlighted the need for - say - a streaming/video hosting package if these are the large files you're talking about. If you can organise a site to accept customer payments - you can certainly sort out sensible streaming arrangements. Sounds like you need to start thinking about your customers' satisfaction with your service - not just their wallets. Make a post on the promotions forum of BGAFD, plenty of people with the tech skills who have proven track records, who can get the job done. Ditch whoever is managing your site now, as they obviously don't have a clue. RE: shebang.tv Amanda Rendall - viperxxx4 - 17-12-2010 16:36 I sincerely apologize to those whom my message may offend, but it needs to be said... If anyone here sincerely and genuinely (I mean really, truly!) believes that the lack of content (for nearly a month), not to mention the lack of live shows now, is because of some technical hiccup or an incompetent systems manager, then you need to do the whole world a favor.. a huge favor which will contribute to the betterment of humanity. That favor is... Don't ever produce offspring. Regards, Viper RE: shebang.tv Amanda Rendall - tsurugi - 17-12-2010 16:37 (17-12-2010 10:09 )ARENDALL Wrote: Iam to.
