KKR beat Hyderabad by 10 runs. Set up by a 93 run 2nd wicket partnership between Rana (80) & Tripathi 53 as the scored 187-6. The Afghanistan spinners Rashid Khan & Nabi bowled well & shared 4 wickets, but the pace bowling was poor, the reliable Kumar went for 45.
Hyderabad lost Warner & Saha early, but Bairstow (55) & Pandey (61 no) recovered the situation. The run rate became too much & the 10 run margin made it look closer than it actually was. Morgan's attack had good plans & bowled well to their field.

Two outstanding innings by the skippers & a blistering half-century by Hooda. Samson was caught on the boundary off the last ball of the match going for a match winning six.
