the daily mail was saying this weeks ep was the most gruesome scene ever!!!! hmm daily mail writers obviously has not watch spartacus or banshee episode 6 (which airs tonight (monday)) which every male in the land will feel the pain.

Quite agree, Spartacus is the most violent TV programme i have ever seen, but last nights episode of GoT was truly staggering.

Unless you spoil it for yourself somewhat by looking up what happens to eveyone using one of the big wikis that are out there, as I stupidly did!

That being said, the writers have mentioned that they don't and have never intended to strictly stick to every detail of the books but they really can't deviate when it comes to main character deaths.

I can't help but think back over all that has happened to everyone who has died without at the same time think that one of the main threads has all been a waste of time but I also have to say that I didn't really care for any of the characters who met their end in this week's episode.

Next weeks episode should be 'interesting' too (wink wink)!

As I have read the books I knew what was going to happen but it was still epic. The shows writers and producers can pat them selves on the back. The best part for me was the smirk on roose boltons face.

And who are you the proud lord said...........

Sadly as I no longer subscribe to Sky I am having to chomp at the bit and wait for series 3 to come out on blue ray. Never seen a series as good as this. Reading my way through book 3 at the moment. Recommend the books, totally engrossing.

brilliant compilation of reactions to the recent episode

Not having access yet to the third series I have patiently been reading through the books. Book 4 and I now realise what the fuss was about in 'The Raines of Castermere" aka The red wedding. This lack of fear in the writing of the story is what sets GoT apart. Fantastic, now just can't wait for series 3 blu ray. Have now watched the scene on YouTube and have to say its pretty much as in the book. The way it's going only Hodor will remain to sit on the Iron Throne by the end!
