The new ball is key. If England can fend it off and get a lead over 280 it will be a tough last innings chase for Australia bearing in mind the scores made at the ground during the county season so far.
A lead of over 300 would be excellent.

The new ball strikes for Australia as Harris dismisses Bell with a ball that kept low & Prior with one that bounced,Broad kept the hat-trick ball out.Broad falls to Harris for 13.

Latest - England 275-8 lead Australia by 243 runs

England are all out for 330 leaving Australia to score 299 to win. It looked for a time that Australia might be chasing considerably less, maybe more like 250 than 300, but Bresnan and Swann came to the rescue and added very useful runs at the end of the innings and bumped Australia's target up a fair bit.

England gambled on an lbw when DRS showed that it had pitched outside leg. They would have liked the vital wicket of Rogers before Lunch.

Can only see one winner now and its not England Sad.
Too many short, wide balls and legside garbage.
England have completely wasted the new ball.
I would be very surprised if England avoid defeat now.

Reverse psychology - works every time Wink laugh.
I am delighted to be wrong Wink.

Having said that I stand by a lot of what I said.
There was a lot of short, wide and legside stuff early on.
Ultimately though another Australia collapse created a 3-0 series score.
Very pleased for England Smile.
